Alpaca Player

Low poly alpaca character designed for a 3rd person player controller. 2876 tris, 1552 verts. Responsible for all aspects.

The rig is set up for holding and carrying props in-game. The poncho is skinned to the body and corrective blends are used for smoothing.

The first pass animations displayed above include running, idle, collect plant cutting (with 3 variations for different heights), pick up pot, walk with pot, put down pot, idle with pot, run with watering can and idle with watering can.

The fake BRDF shader was developed to overlay over a base unlit diffuse texture. Ramps are designed to reflect different times of day and take attenuation into account. It can be faded between any two ramps.
